        Division 2 - Maesglas Res 3 v 3 Pencader

Maesglas reserves threw the form book out of the window with a draw which at half time looked no where near on, as the second string of the Blues were 3 nil down at the interval. But for whatever was said at the break and changes made it paid off, as the Blues grafted their way back into the game and broke up the Pencader side from playing the football that they had been doing in the first 45. But the Blues earned themselves a good point which all adds to keeping the second division status alive.

A tense second half saw Maesglas hit back through goals from Myles Harrison and the ever so green Clifford Rogers, Rogers adding a second to his name by grabbing the last minute leveller to earn the point. A good display in the second half but the first half was a disaster for the homeside and were fortunate to be 3 goals down. But its a point that was probably not expected, and with this second half performance, it will give the Maesglas belief against Felinfach who are the visitors to Maes Radley next week. |
